Dubbed the Kraken after the mythical, squid-like sea monster, the vessel was sunk 67 miles off the coast of Galveston to create a new artificial reef. There may be areas of this site, if not the entire site, that require additional training and experience beyond simply being a certified diver, for you to safely visit.
