Description
Princess Bay is one of our favourite Wellington dive sites situated at one end of the local marine reserve. There are two main entry points. The first one is in the bay on the right hand side of the car park. This area is more fishy and is easier to get in and out of the beach. Follow the rocky reef out through the weed to sand, `8-10m deep and see the schools of Blue Moki, Terakihi, mackeral and spotties hand out. In the reef look for conger eels nudibranchs and crayfish.
