Description

The Wimpey was the bomber in use by the Royal Air Force. Robust and light, thanks to the geodesic structure in duralumin and the canvas cover, it was fitted with two three-blade engines produced (in the Mark2 version) by Rolls Royce that allowed it great flight autonomy.
