Description
The Popes Eye Marine Park is a site that is part of the greater designated Port Phillip Heads Marine National Park and as such is a vibrant and colourful example of the features of the Great Southern Reef. A man-made structure commenced in 1888, it was intended to become a defence fort installation, however was never completed as it became redundant.
